More than two decades of real estate and capital markets experience.

Walter Johnson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sonos Capital Management. He has been investing in and operating real estate since 2002, building a track record that spans the expansion of the mid 2000s, the 2008 downturn and the recovery that followed, and the market cycles since.

That experience covers single family and small residential rentals, multifamily apartment assets, and manufactured housing communities, from acquisition and underwriting through repositioning, on-site operations, and disposition. On the capital markets side, Walter has originated more than $880 million in mortgage financing, giving him a working knowledge of debt structuring, lender requirements, and how financing conditions shape real estate outcomes.

He founded Sonos Capital to apply that operating and capital markets background to manufactured housing, an asset class he views as durable, undersupplied, and underserved by professional operators. He serves on the Housing & Community Development Advisory Board of Mesa, Arizona.

He's joined by Dayna Corlito (Operations), Mike Taylor (Community Development), and Michael Newman (Capital Advisory), a team built for disciplined acquisition, hands-on management, and clear investor communication.
